My partner has booked the holiday for us and forgot to ask how much standard luggage allowance we%26#39;re allowed in Qatar flights - does anyone know?

Their site mentions 20 kg but there IS no real standard. It really depends on the flight route and booking style. Generally for tickets purchased %26#39;standalone%26#39; from UK (with them or with agent) it%26#39;s 30 kg, I had that too a few years back; and for tickets purchased as part of a travel package it%26#39;s often 20 kg. Simply check your e-ticket, it must be stated on that.

Thanks for that - my boyfriend has just emailed me the confimation and it stated 20kg which is good

If you are worried about the luggage allowance why don%26#39;t you join as one of their frequent flyers - which is free - and then you get an extra allowance and I also was able to phone up and book our seats together which was an extra bonus. The reservation number is 0870 770 4215 but you can join on the internet.

You are allowed 20kg each, although each bag must not exceed 23kg

So 22.5 then!! More shoes!
