4 of us will be staying at browns beach hotel in aug on an all inclusive basis and can,t decide if better to do day trips or overnite trips as prices are varying for overnite trips roughly 250 pounds for a 4 nite break so a total of 1000 for 4 of us visiting sigina rock,polonurwa,dambula,kandy city,kandy dance and tooth temple,elephant orphanage,tea plantations,udawalwe national park,and galle.

What sort of accommodation would you be using for that trip? Seems a lot to me! Are you sure the price you are being quoted is per person? Hire a driver to do the tour with you for those 4 nights. You%26#39;ll pay the same for his time and driving whether there%26#39;s one of you or 6 in the party. Obviously the accommodation and entrance fees to attractions are on top, but it won%26#39;t set you back anything like 拢1000!!!

From Negombo you can only do reasonable day trips to Elephant Orphanage (including Kandy will mean a very long day) and maybe Galle. The rest of the places are too far away.
I think the quote you have got is overpriced. 5D/4N trip including the places you mention should in my opinion be GBP 800-820 for 4 staying in mid range hotels, even cheaper in guesthouses.

i thought the price was a little expensive as would only be staying in cheap accomadation on half board basis and price includes entrance fees.250 pounds was cheapest quoted so far some as much as 400 pounds each.
