i am stayind at the mermaid mid september and am wondering should i be concerned about malerea and do i need to take tablets for this

If you will only be staying at the coast in Kalutara no need to worry and no need to take any tablets.

Only if you do overnight trips to the Cultural Triangle you might think about anti malarials.

Hi dece, i would take some repellant with you. I got bitten something awful, while in Waddua.I would also take a plugin mossie control for your room.Our hotel The Blue Water supplied them in the room, but housekeeper fogot to change the (tablet) in it. No need for malaria medication though.
