Would you recommend this hotel for a 12 and 6 yr olds?

No. Its location is somewhat isolated, on a main road (although walled-in), and access to the beach is difficult, if not impossible. Its facilities are not great for youngsters (other than the pool).
Depends on your children but likely to be better off in more popular locations such as Hikkaduwa or Unawatuna, where there%26#39;s more to do and the beach is an option.
