Hibiscus Beach

Hello again,

I鈥檓 off to Sri Lanka in April, we booked flights and only then decided that we wanted a hotel as a base, mainly because of the big holiday in the middle of our stay and because a couple of 鈥榝irst timers鈥?have decided to join us who are probably not ready for more than a few days of life village side.

I鈥檝e been in touch direct (by email) with Hibiscus Beach Hotel in Kalutara, they鈥檝e offered a reasonable good all inclusive deal which I鈥檓 happy with (拢620 per room of two people for two weeks).

I鈥檝e never stayed at the hotel before and although I鈥檝e visited Kalutara several times to visit the Temple I鈥檝e never stayed there and I鈥檇 welcome any info on the hotel and the surrounding area.

Hibiscus Beach

Hi Mark,

I have recent experience in this hotel but some time back i was there in the Hibiscus hotel. The hotel is situated in Mahawaskaduwa in Kalutala. The beach area not that nice for safe swimming as far as i know. Its about 10 mins to Kalutara town by a tuk tuk. Don;t like to comment on rooms or about facilities about the hotel because i was not there in the recent past and i don%26#39;t know the current situation.
