You%26#39;d be as much on the road (only 40 km/h and altogether maybe 1200 km!) as visiting attractions, but technically it IS feasible. In our style we%26#39;d find it too much, and limit to Kandy and north of it. In that area you can also find a %26#39;mini hill country%26#39; option: Elkaduwa and the Hunas Falls (also a lovely hotel for lunch and staying), with mid-size waterfall (50-60 meters high) and also tea plantation/factory in the area. It%26#39;s between Matale and Kandy on a detour route.

Thanks! I knod of thought it was too much, especially as we only have 10 days in the country. Will probably stick to having a base in Bentota and maybe doing an overnighter to Kandy.

Then the rest will be done the next time ;)

If you want to spend your time in the tourist area and with wonderful sandy beaches visit the turtle hatchery etc then Bentota is the place to be

OR

You could spend more than one night in Kandy as looking round Kandy tooth temple etc is ayt least a day and another couple of days for the cultural triangle a sort of two centre holiday

thanks, we are basing ourselves in Bentota, gonna do a 2 night trip to probably kandy and then stay overnight at negombo before heading back home.

Like others, i also recommend some drivers,guiders,hotels, pricers, places, tour details and what is inportant. If i am recommending a person i am doing it only by sending a PM. But some people has just posted other%26#39;s email addreses. Some contact them and get help. But i am not doing any thing like that. But why have they removed only my comments? I am a Experianced Tourist Driver/Guide for 10 years. I am able to provide any information about any place in Sri Lanka. But i comment only about Negombo, beacause im in negombo. But i am not promoting my self. Im promoting others drivers. I have many drivers to help. so i am helping them. I am also just like other posters. Some people are very jealous. They try there best to remove them by complaining to TA. Most of the time, other posters are from abroad. They dont know any thing about negombo more that i do. Is this because i am from Sri lanka??? I like to help others by the things i know. All my PMs have been removed. But no one can remove my emails in my computer. Any way i help the people who ask for help. If you want to write me some thing, PM me.
