husband and I made a last minute decision to go to Sri Lanka for a week from 13 March. Trying to decide where to stay either at Aditya hotel in Galle, or Club Villa in Bentota. Any advice? We want some peace and quiet but also be near restaurants, bars, that we can venture to at night.

We%26#39;re having a week on the beach at the end of our 2 week trip to Sri Lanka... but we%26#39;ve decided to split it with 5 nights at the Fortress (Koggola, nr Galle) and 2 nights at Saman Villas (south of Bentota).
I%26#39;d originally decided on a 4/3 split but we got 5th night free at the Fortress so that is what we ended up booking.
My logic is that the couple of nights in Bentota allows me to see that part of the coast and also gets us a bit nearer to the airport for our return trip!
Although I appreciate you may not wish to pack and unpack again.....
I%26#39;m not sure which accomodations in particular are good for venturing out at night as it wasn%26#39;t an essential requirement for us.

I stayed at the Aditya in Feb 09 the best hotel i have ever stayed in .Service and food out of this world.It also has a fantastic beach.Club villa is mainly a beach resort whilst at the Aditya you have the opportunity to visit Galle.All the best Allen.B
