i was wondering what sort of things the beach sellers sell and what prices you expect to pay for things as like to buy wood carvings etc

Hi there....

Beach Boys at Browns like all other beach resorts in Sri Lanka would sell the normal of gifts, nic nacs and other touristy stuff, and of course trips too !

Best NOT to buy specialist things like wood carvings from them, but go a a shop or workshop that sells,or makes them, prices all quite reasonable, but best to ';Haggle'; a little.

Incidentally, the Beach Boys at Browns Beach are the FIRST in Sri Lanka to be ';Fully Licensed'; by the government in SL, the hotel has co-operated with this, and their licenses WILL be revoked for bad behaviour and they will be banned from the beach, hopefully all hotels on beaches will follow this example in the near future.
