which resort

Me and my boyfreind want to go to Sri Lanka this coming August.

We have the choice of 3 resorts with in our budget.

please could anyone tell me which one/s are the most lively at night time.

we understand its not a party island and thats not what we want, but we dont want to be in a resort where there is nothing to do at all.

Resorts are.......

Kalutara

Beruwela

Bentota

Hi Ellie,

Bentota and to a certain degree Beruwala have restaurants/bars within walking distance (or a short tuk tuk trip).

Kalutara (esp. Kani Lanka) does not have many possibilities outside the hotels.

If that is the case it wouldnt matter really which resort we choose.

The hotels in Beruwala are actually located at Moragalle Beach.

The distance from Moragalle Beach to Bentota is about 2.5 km (5 minutes by tuk tuk - LKR 200).

First Choice and Thomson Holidays have merged. From 1st May they will emerge as TUI Travels AFAIK.
