Next best place to stay after Asian Jewel???

Just wondering if anyone can offer some advice with regards to accomodation. Ideally we wanted to stay in Asian Jewel as all the reviews have been excellent alas its all booked up for this Easter. Can anyone recommend the next best?? Looking for somewhere relaxing with a pool, price not an issue - just want somewhere clean and peaceful. I have had a look at the reviews but nothing strikes me... all have mixed reports.

Bentota is about 2 hours from the airport, before you get to Hikkaduwa.

I stayed at The Waterside Bentota for a night and it was absolutely stunning, it%26#39;s 1-2km outside of Bentota and it%26#39;s on the river. Check out the reviews:

It%26#39;s got a pool and it%26#39;s very peaceful. It%26#39;s surrounded on 3 sides by jungle and the other side is the river.

My girlfriend and I loved it.
