We are thinking of taking out honeymoon in sri lanka in october and was just wondering if anybody has any recommendations of where we could stay in marissa.

Not many of the places in Mirissa are available on the internet and the accommodation is mostly guesthouses which may not be what you want for a honeymoon. If you want to go for the upper end you could look at Mirissa Palace or Mirissa Hills (away from the beach). There%26#39;s also Paradise Beach Club which though not top standard is higher than the guest houses and has a good spot on the beach. Mirissa is beautiful so you should love it no matter what.

We stayed in the rooms and Cabanas at Paradise Beach Club last week and whilst the cabanas are nice, they lack a little finesse...

The rooms however are of 4 star english hotel quality and are very nicely furnished and are immaculately clean.
