Getting married

My fiancee and i are looking to get married in Sri Lanka and are facing the daunting task of picking a hotel in which to do this.If anyone out there has any suggestions on the best value and amenities that would be great.We are hoping to have the ceremony on the beach,so we would be looking for a nice one..We are looking at next Febuary as we have been advised that our original idea of October was in the rainy season.Thank you in advance.

Well %26#39;best value%26#39; depends on what you%26#39;re willing to pay of course! Indeed October is one of the worst months and February one of the best...

4-5 stars beach hotels are The Beach Negombo, Blue Water Wadduwa, Saman Villas Bentota, Heritance Ahungalla and Lighthouse Galle. And one category above that (well actually Saman Villas also is in it) are Fortress Koggala and Amanwella in Weligama.

Many many other options exist, mostly cheaper than these but not necessarily with lower quality.

HI ya. Congrats. If you can wait until end of April this year we can give you feedback on The Jetwing Beach in Negombo as we are getting married there mid-April. Cannot wait. We have heard nothing but praise for this hotel. So excited 7 weeks till we fly... wooo hooooo. :-)

i would suggest february at the jetwing Beach Hotel , going on feedback from previous guests.October is very wet!!!!
