can anybody advise me if they have arranged any tours through harold and what the prices were like in ￡￡? Also if anybody has any contact details for them in order to get an estimate for some trips

Prices are dependant on what tours you do and are normally tailoured to you and how much or little you wish to see on the trip.

Yes Harold does have a shop, about 100 metres before the main gate of the Dolphin and no he does not have an e-mail address but Raj does at the Canal Garden and he will pass on any messages. I%26#39;ll have a look this evening and dig it out.

We went out for 3 days last week with Harald, Blackie was our guide and I cannot recommend him enough. As a guide price he charged us ￡105pp for 3 days/2 nights accommodation to visit Polonnaruwa, Dambulla, Sigiriya and the elephant orphanage...compare that to a 1 night stay in Kandy with First Choice at ￡70pp! More than the cost saving, what you will get is an expert local guide who will take only where you want to go and give you all the local knowledge you could wish for.

Hey they are great. They do have a shop. We went with Jhon in a Tuk Tuk to Negombo and my partner did one of their boat trips. They are far more flexible and very friendly.
