we are staying at The Tangerine Beach Hotel in May this year and wondered if any one could advise us on what weather to expect as we have been told it%26#39;s monsoon season?
Also, has anyone stayed at the hotel recently that could give us any advice, tips etc or a review of the hotel and facilities.

Weather in May is a bit unpredictable. First half is usually much better than second half when the inter monsoon season is starting.
Mornings are usually sunny with the occasional shower, but afternoons are more cloudy and 2 days out of 3 will have hefty thundershowers in the afternoon, evening and/or night.
May is the wettest month on the west coast of Sri Lanka.
