My Travel agent as just phoned and said FC/Thomson have been in touch and said that they have seats on Sri Lankan Airways there%26#39;s a change of airports but thats all I know as he is awating a letter from them

I would take that with a HUGE pinch of salt if i were you, Sri Lankan Airlines, not Airways! have now cut back thier own schedules for the comming months, used to be 2 flights a day except Wednesdays, now weekdays all cut back to one.

Hmm, now were FC flights not all booked for Wednesdays??

My advice, DO NOT believe FC until you have tickets in hand, incidentally, all SLA flights leave from Terminal 4 at Heathrow, and all flight numbers start with UL 5......

We have still not heard anything. When are you travelling?

Our flights are for the 2nd of June 2009 which will be a Tuesday that was with FC/Thomson yes and he did say it would be from Hrow. I don%26#39;t know any more until the letter comes we but will say when if it comes

Fingers crossed we so want to still go but just want it sorted now!

Just for your info, and so you can keep tabs on what FC are telling you.

The only flight out with Sri Lankan Airlines on June 2nd, yes it is a Tuesday, leaves Heathrow at 3.00 in the afternoon, arriving in Colombo the next morning at 6.10 AM, and the flight number is UL 506
