Luggage

We are going to hire a car and driver when we travel around Sri Lanka. What boot size do most of the average driver%26#39;s car have or how many suitcases does a normal taxi carry etc? We have had problems in the past in Asia. We usually travel with 2 large and one medium suitcase. I have a Delsey hard case so makes it hard to squeeze in. I like my hard case as it really protects any breakables. Maybe I will have to buy a smaller suitcase? (tricky)

Hi there,

Assume a sedan, e.g. Nissan Sunny or Toyota Camry. Boot can have two standard suitcases. So you might need to put the 3rd one on the back bench....

Depends what driver you have. Many of them use a 7-seater mini-bus as their only vehicle, however many of you there are ... in which case ... take as many cases as you want, haha!
