Sailing in Kalutara

Hi, it seems that the Kani Lanka has a hobie cat, can any one confirm this? Also any tips about sailing on the west-coast of Sri Lanka would be welcome. For instance, is it possible to rent sailboats in the Bentota or Beruwela areas? I have been to Sri Lanka before, but have never sailed there.

I have never seen sailboats on Bentota River or in the ocean there, so I doubt it%26#39;s possible to rent sailboats in the Bentota and Beruwala areas. I can ask my friend in the area next time I call him.

I have had contact to a friend that is working at Kani Lanka. She said that Kani Lanka does not have a Hobie Cat.

It is possible to rent sailboats in Aluthgama (Beruwala/Bentota area).

I sent an email to the hotel, who replied that they have a sailboat (but didn%26#39;t say what kind). So I should be able to sail. I%26#39;ll know next week for sure, when I%26#39;m there!
