did the locals know first ?

have been reading with great interest all recent posts regarding saga with first choice,we holidayed last november and became very friendly with a local family,one canversion kept coming back ';why where first choice stopping there holidays here';? we thought they where getting confused with the merger of tompsons and f c,on reflection now prehaps it was already known back then.sorry if this causes distress to anyone iam only repeating what i was told.suffice to say we are returning in april with mercury direct have used this company before and been well impressed with them, i would say to anybody struggling to find alternate tour operators give these a lookjude60
