We have never been to Sri Lanka before and was wondering what we can expect from the weather in Beruwela the first part of September.

First part of September is still in the west monsoon season, so mornings are usually bright and sunny, some clouds will build up in the afternoon and many days have a hefty late afternoon/evening shower.

Hi,

Beach is not the only option or probably the best option in Sri Lanka. Inland is far better than beaches. So you don;t have to worry. Depending on your preferences plenty of things to do.
