It%26#39;s probably not improved since the most recent reviews (2007). Hikkaduwa standard hotels, including CG, generally go upto 2-3 stars but have a corresponding price. Many other beach towns offer more luxury but at a higher price - e.g. Bentota, Beruwala, Kalutara, Negombo.
